WDI has been creating quality wood product for over 80 years. Started in a barn in Lake Elmo, MN, we have gone through many ups and downs. When the economy changes, we need to change. When consumer preferences moved to another medium, we needed to be more proactive in showcasing the advantages or our favorite medium, wood! Since 2001 we have been in a dedicated facility in Forest Lake, MN with the capability and capacity to supply most any demand. This has allowed us to expand our business as we have grown and added additional capabilities.

Our business is making custom wood products, which in and of itself is not as common in the USA as it once was, but just making something is not enough. We need to meet and exceed the needs of our customers to ensure our continued success. We strive for this with every project. We strive to make our clients say “wow!"
