The Benefits of Creating Mock-Ups

Mock-ups are a good idea for several reasons, including:

  • Mock-ups expedite the approval process. It can serve as the proof for approval.
  • Mock-ups ensure both you and the client are on the same page. The client understands what he is getting. In this case, he approves the size and placement of the logo.
  • Graphically speaking, I want my customer to understand I possess the necessary design skills that could be put into play for other projects. The same goes for your business.
  • Price is perhaps the most important reason to do a mock-up in this instance. I want to get the client excited about the project prior to sharing the quote. I know once they see a new logo or image rendered similar to what the final project will be, they can’t say no.
