THE NBM SHOW gears up for the West Coast with a stop in Santa Clara, California, on February 7-8. Registration is free until February 6.

“Santa Clara is in the heart of Silicon Valley, where businesses are strong, established, and looking to grow into new markets,” comments Katie Ditallo, senior trade show sales manager for THE NBM SHOW.

The February show offers professionals a chance to network, take classes, meet with industry professionals, and research purchases of equipment. Some of the educational opportunities at the Santa Clara show include Training in the Classroom sessions like:

Feb. 6, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Join the DTG Revolution!

Hirsch Solutions offers an all-day, hands-on seminar the day before the exhibit hall opens that explores direct-to-garment printing technology. Hosts discuss how business owners can get started in this niche, and print on a variety of goods such as T-shirts, hats, footwear, and coasters. The class also discusses using mixed-media techniques like combining embroidery and DTG.

Feb. 7, 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
A Better Way to Produce Custom Graphics in CorelDRAW

Digital Art Solutions offers up strategies on how to master the basics of graphics program CorelDRAW. The class compares traditional design and production methods with some of the automated features in the program to improve efficiency for graphics in everything from screen printing and embroidery to sublimation and vinyl cutting.

Feb. 8, 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
Mastering CorelDRAW – for Beginners to Intermediate

Action Illustrated’s class on the graphics suite covers a range of topics for multiple levels of users, including how to manipulate templates, creating eye-catching text, and using the color features in the program. The class also covers how to apply special effects.

In addition to a full schedule of Training in the Classroom opportunities, THE NBM SHOW features Training Stop, 15-30-minute in-booth training sessions on the show floor and HANDS ON, where exhibitors guide attendees through the equipment operation process, allowing them to experiment and test equipment themselves.
