Minuteman Press Franchise in Fayetteville, Georgia Relocates to Accommodate Growth
The Greens have owned their Fayetteville, Georgia franchise for about five years and had to relocate because they needed more space.
Farmingdale, New York-based franchisor Minuteman Press International announces that Rex and Pam Green, the company’s franchisees in Fayatteville, Georgia, recently had to find a new location-for good reason.
“We recently relocated our business due to demand for more space resulting from growth of the company. To accommodate new people and equipment, we needed more space,” says Rex Green. “We joined our local chamber of commerce and they eagerly advocated for a ribbon-cutting at our new space. We had 40 to 50 customers in attendance to support us and wish us well. Local dignitaries, including the mayor of Fayetteville, visited and addressed the crowd. This was a rewarding event for us, as we’ve not done anything like this previously.”
Rex Green’s background is 35 years in manufacturing electronics hardware, and Pam is an artist who was paid for her original paintings and she also taught art students, in between raising the couple’s daughter. They say they looked around for a year at various franchising opportunities when they discovered a Minuteman Press franchise for sale about 60 miles from their home.
“Ultimately, we bought a franchise that became available in our community,” Rex says. “I liked the production focus of the business, I understood the value of the FLEX software in managing the business, and I researched Minuteman Press and determined the company to be a solid, reputable franchisor.”
He says that his background in manufacturing gave him certain skill sets that transferred well into running a printing franchise.
“Early on we decided to focus on providing precise production with fast turnaround,” he says. “Precision is a result of the skills of our people. We have a great staff with different skillsets in printing, graphic design, and messaging. We produce visual communications materials rapidly and accurately, and our customers really appreciate that about us.”
