Featured Project: Wrapping Under the Sea

Virginia's The Graphics Shop has wrapped four ambulances for a local children's hospital using designs from local artist "onietonie." This latest one features a colorful crab theme.

This featured project comes to us from the Hampton Roads section of Virginia, where The Graphics Shop has been in business for well over a decade. The veteran-owned business started out as a screen printing shop but has since branched out into doing signs and a full range of graphic offerings, including vehicle wraps. It is now owned by Hackworth Graphics|Printing|Technology in Chesapeake, Virgina.

The Graphics Shop has wrapped special transport ambulances for the local Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters before, and this latest one features original “crab” artwork by artist Troy Summerell, known professionally as “onietonie.” The crab design was one of five original artworks submitted by the artist. Three previous ambulances, finished in August 2017, featured fish, turtle and seahorse art by onietonie.
