Finding the Right Font for a Job
Determine if a font is readable or not.
Almost any font can be used as a headline font if handled properly. It’s just a matter of choosing the right font for the job. To determine whether a font is appropriate for paragraph text, it is best to view a few paragraphs in that font to assess how easy or difficult or distracting it is to read. Ease is more important than style when using text fonts, but there are more than enough easy-to-read fonts that each have unique, though perhaps subtle personalities.
