Foxmark Corp. Drives Interior Decor Solutions to Client Base

The printing and signage company looks to expand its interior printing applications

Foxmark Corp. EFI

Katy, Texas-based Foxmark Corporation looks for continued growth in commercial and retail interiors by adding an EFI VUTEk 5r+ UV LED roll-to-roll superwide-format inkjet printer to its arsenal.

Foxmark’s offering of interior graphics to its national client base requires faster and bigger output, leading to the company’s equipment expansion.

“Horsepower is always important when doing national programs,” says Foxmark CEO and founder Richard Fox. His company, which has an additional 198″ wide roll-to-roll printer, a disperse dye-sublimation soft signage printer, and a 126″ wide hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll UV LED printer, leverages its printing strengths with its online offerings to provide comprehensive solutions.

Interior printing applications

Foxmark has established a unique value proposition for retail and commercial customers in offering end-to-end, localized, customized solutions for interior printing applications.

“Clients can set up display design options based on their needs,” explains Foxmark sales director Gary Paczosa. “Localization is the hottest trend for national retailers, and Foxmark provides integrated solutions to meet that demand.”

Customers initiate an order through an online portal developed by Foxmark’s software engineers. The portal, which handles all client reviews and approvals, is integrated with the production floor’s printers. When the projects are approved, the orders progress to manufacturing, shipping, and on-site installation. All phases are managed within the proprietary Foxmark portal.

“One of our company divisions is Signpost USA. It is another online portal to manage and coordinate outdoor signage for commercial real estate companies nationwide,” explains Paczosa. “Customers log into the portal, customize a preapproved template, and submit the order. Production, installation, and invoicing are all handled electronically. The sign is installed exactly where the client requested based on GPS coordinates.”

High-volume output

According to the print and signage company, Foxmark can deliver more in its online-driven offering due to the VUTEk 5r+ printer’s capability, high ink coverage, and color gamut.

While Foxmark Corporation sees opportunity in branding and in-store retail applications, corporate interior work is a large and growing part of the business. “That’s what drew us to the 5r+, the ability to print on various kinds of substrates, whether it be polyester or films,” says Paczosa.

In addition to working with various flexible substrates, Foxmark can also work in white printing modes. Fox says he sees the prevalence of white inks within corporate interiors for decorative window films, wallcoverings, translucent projects, and sign faces.

Fox also notes the importance of sustainability for the company and its customers. The LED inks it uses have a GreenGuard certification, which means cost savings and environmental benefits—something Foxmark plans to emphasize in its marketing efforts.

Foxmark offers various services, including architectural and commercial interiors, retail interior and displays, fleet and vehicle graphics, and trade show and exhibit graphics.
