Matt is a Califonia native, UCSB grad, and Sustainable Apparel Pioneer, working in the space since 2008. In 2010 he Co-founded Groceries Apparel, running sales, marketing, and design for the first USA-based exclusively sustainable, vertically integrated factory and collection. The brand was found in Bloomingdales, Nordstrom's, and over 3,000 boutiques worldwide while also producing blanks and private-label goods for many other brands such as Outerknown. He recently joined Everywhere Apparel helping them launch the first GRS Certified 100% recycled cotton blank garments that are also CLOSED LOOP. These next-generation sustainable garments, which are also private label private label-friendly, enable companies to "close the loop" and make strides towards their sustainability goals simply by using these blanks garments.
