THE NBM SHOW Wraps Up 2018 Schedule in the Tar Heel State
THE NBM SHOW wraps up its 2018 schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina on Nov. 2-3.
BROOMFIELD, Colo.-Charlotte, North Carolina is the next and final stop of the year for THE NBM SHOW, Nov. 2-3. The show takes place at the Charlotte Convention Center.
“Our first visit to Charlotte with an NBM event was in the Spring of 1991,” says Sue Hueg, vice president of NBM Events. “We were at the old convention center then, which is now the site of the EPICENTRE, a multi-level entertainment area full of restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and more. The folks in Charlotte are just as warm and friendly now as they were then, and this vibrant city abounds with things to do and see. We always look forward to returning to the Queen City.”
For producers in the decorated apparel market, Charlotte presents a fitting stage for their industry. The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) notes that the state is home to 700 textile manufacturing establishments and a workforce of more than 42,000, making the southeastern state the largest textile mill industry in the country. In addition to home goods and other textiles, the state is home to various high-capacity manufacturing and yarn-spinning hubs for various apparel companies.
“THE NBM SHOW is ending the 2018 show season at one of our favorite cities-Charlotte!” states Katie Ditallo, senior trade show sales manager for THE NBM SHOW. “Historically, Charlotte is known for its textile mill production- so there’s no surprise that it’s THE event to talk with distributors and manufacturers in the decorated apparel market. Attendees will love the different crossover opportunities they will get from THE NBM SHOW’s educational seminars, on-site demonstrations, and new products for the upcoming year.”
Training kicks off on Nov. 1 with two all-day presentations: “Direct-to-Garment Printing Using the Epson F2100 and F2000 Printer,” presented by Equipment Zone; and “Mastering Multi-Decoration with a Vinyl Cutter,” presented by Digital Art Solutions. Both take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and are free to attendees.

“With our Charlotte event, we close out the 2018 event year; the last stop on our coast-to-coast journey,” says Hueg. “On behalf of all of us at THE NBM SHOW and our media sponsors; Printwear, Sign & Digital Graphics, and A&E, we warmly welcome both old and new friends to Charlotte. See you there.”
