STAHLS’ has announced the winners for the second quarter of 2024 for its Stahl Family Scholarship: Culver Community Middle/High School and Blueberry Hill Design Works.

The Stahl Family Scholarship aims to provide resources and financial support to schools and small businesses involved in apparel decoration. By offering state-of-the-art equipment and expert guidance, we help recipients enhance their programs, expand their services, and ultimately achieve their dreams. The scholarship includes a comprehensive package designed to boost their capabilities and foster growth.

School winner: Culver Community Middle/High School

Culver Community Middle/High School in Culver, Indiana, offers an extensive curriculum to students including entrepreneurship, intro to business, middle school business, and graphic design. They operate a spirit store where students gain practical business experience.

This scholarship will enable the school to expand its program offerings, develop an online spirit store, and provide more affordable spirit wear, enriching students’ learning experiences in business and design.

Business winner: Blueberry Hill Design Works

Blueberry Hill Design Works is a New Hampshire-based creative business run by Carrie Whittemore, Kelly Shirk, and Shauna Hautanen, specializing in embroidery, heat transfer vinyl, screen-printed transfers, screen printing, and sublimation.

With goals of expanding into wholesale, collaborating with local businesses, starting a blog, and revamping their website, this scholarship will help them utilize DTF transfers for small-batch printing and improve screen-printing efficiency, driving their business growth and capacity.
