STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.-Stahls’ continues its Workshop Wednesday series with March classes at its various showroom and training facilities. The different sessions put a focus on vinyl cutters and heat transfer vinyl, as well as how to maximize equipment and material investments to grow a business with transfers.
On March 13 and 14, Stahls’ presents a Vinyl Cutter Boot Camp for the Roland GS-24, as well as the Graphtec CE-6000. These classes cover basic operations and best cutting practices, as well as CadworxLIVE free online designer and cutter software. The Roland class takes place on March 13, and the Graphtec class is on March 14. Both sessions run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
The company also offers Heat Transfer Vinyl 101, which highlights the basics in selecting the right heat transfer material, as well as cutting, weeding, and dealing with different vinyl types. It also teaches decorators how to increase sales with special-effect media. The class is held on March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Arizona, Florida, and Ohio.
For decorators looking to dive a little deeper, Heat Transfer Vinyl 201-Advanced explores the range of heat transfer vinyl options such as multicolor and mixed-media applications with glitters, foils, and patterns. Stahls’ says the class also covers vinyl layering and “creating out-of-the-box prints on out-of-the-ordinary items.” It takes place on March 13 in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas from 2-5 p.m. It runs again at the same time on March 14 in California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
The company encourages interested parties to reserve spots early as seating is limited.
