SanMar Recognized as a Best-Managed Company
This marks the third year SanMar has ranked as an honoree on the list.
SanMar, a supplier of wholesale accessories and apparel, announced it has been selected as a 2024 U.S. Best Managed company.
The award, sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes the achievements of U.S. private companies and the successes of their management teams.
This marks the third year SanMar has ranked as an honoree on the list.
SanMar has been a family-owned business since its founding in 1971 and is currently managed by the third generation of the Lott family. The company’s longstanding investments in its employees, operations, and sustainability efforts, are said to be key drivers for its selection as a 2024 U.S. Best Managed company.
U.S. Best Managed Companies is part of a global Deloitte Private program. Honorees are selected by an external panel of judges who evaluate applicants based on strategy, ability to execute, culture, and governance and financial performance. SanMar joins an ecosystem of organizations from more than 44 countries.
“We are humbled to receive this recognition,” said Jeremy Lott, CEO of SanMar. “I’m motivated by our team’s unwavering dedication to doing right by each other, our customers, and our values.”
The Best Managed Companies program
The Best Managed Companies program is said to be a “mark of excellence” for private companies. U.S. designees have revenues of at least $250 million. Thousands of private companies around the world have competed for this designation in their respective countries through a rigorous and independent process that evaluates four key criteria in their management skills and practices — strategy, execution, culture, and governance/financials.
