ABBEVILLE, S.C.-The Pro Towels Family of companies, which includes Pro Towels, Kanata Blanket Company, Superior, and Neet Feet donates $1,000 to the Abbeville Promise Program. The program provides higher education scholarships for students in the region.

The scholarship was established by Freshwater Coast Community Foundation, an organization that makes investments to improve schools and educational processes in Abbeville County, McCormick County, and the Starr-Iva area of Anderson in South Carolina.

“Pro Towels Family is excited to be a part of this scholarship program, as well as becoming a partner within the community by helping with future donations and events,” the company says.

“Pro Towels has been a wonderful corporate citizen in the Abbeville community,” says Andy Timmerman, co-chair of the Abbeville Promise Campaign. “Their contribution toward the Abbeville Promise Campaign will enable us to ‘promise’ every high school graduate in Abbeville County the opportunity to receive a two-year technical college degree at no tuition cost. It is our hope that this program will create a more qualified workforce for all the industries and businesses in Abbeville and therefore make Abbeville a better community for all.”
