DOING YOUR (p)ART is a series of email newsletters highlighting small business owners and how they're refocusing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Los Angeles-based Lane Seven Apparel, a supplier of blank apparel, announces the launch of DOING YOUR (p)ART, a series of email newsletters highlighting small business owners and how they continue to innovate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now more than ever, it’s crucial to support the small businesses in our community. We asked people to share their stories with us, how they’ve had to refocus their efforts, how they are staying creative in that process so that we could share those stories with a wider audience,” says Lane Seven CEO, Nabeel Amin.

For the first installment, Lane Seven teamed up with Minnesota based print and apparel specialist, Upscaled Designs, to share how they’ve turned their focus over to 3D printing face shields, producing needed PPE for frontline medical workers.

Upscaled Designs owner Kerry Eldstrom says they were looking to make an impact while also keeping lights on and doors open. So far, the shop has made 510 shields and counting.

Lane Seven Apparel encourages shops to share their stories.
