CHARLOTTE, N.C.-International Textile Group (ITG) announces the launch of a new name and corporate identity, Elevate Textiles. The organization replaces ITG as the parent company of American & Efird (A&E), Burlington, Cone Denim, Gütermann, and Safety Components.

The company’s portfolio features global brands that provide solutions and textile products throughout the world. Elevate Textiles says the new name and identity follow the integration of A&E and ITG last year under the leadership of Platinum Equity, which acquired ITG in 2016 and A&E in 2018. Elevate Textiles’ client base features 25,000 customers in more than 100 countries, a global network of 37 facilities, and a workforce of more than 15,000 employees.

As part of the new corporate identity, the company says it will establish a global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Current offices in Greensboro and Mount Holly, North Carolina remain as divisional headquarters for the company’s respective fabrics and threads portfolio brands.

The company says it plans to maintain a focus on “operational excellence, safety, and environmental sustainability, with an integrated approach to supply chain, R&D, and procurement.”
