Glantz, a national lighting, graphics, and electrical sign supplies wholesaler, announces the acquisition of the assets, business, and operations of Neon Engineering Inc. (NEI), a distributor of signage and lighting supplies.

NEI has been in operation since 1933 and is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Chris Greenebaum joined the company in 1999 as a third-generation owner serving as general manager and president.

“It’s a simple matter of addition, not subtraction. I am very excited about the additional offerings to customers, employees, and the business that was built by my family. It is a powerful union that will grow this market in Cincinnati,” states Greenebaum.

According to the companies, Cincinnati customers will be served at an increased level by the relationships at NEI and by the additional product offerings and strategic vendor partnerships that Glantz brings to the relationship.

“We’ve seen growth in the Cincinnati market, and aligning with a like-minded company that is also family-owned and highly focused on customer service just made sense,” says Davey Glantz, principal and fourth-generation owner of Glantz.

Greenebaum will lead the Cincinnati Glantz branch in sales and operations. His existing team will continue to support and grow customers in this region.
