Campus Ink Presents NIL Golf Event
The Aug. 26 event will feature a golf scramble with University of Illinois athletes and coaches
Campus Ink, an Illinois-based screen printing company helping student-athletes profit from their name, image, and likeness, announces a NIL Golf Open on Aug. 26 at 12:30 p.m. CT., an event it plans to host annually.
Set at Urbana Country Club in Urbana, Illinois, the event will feature a golf scramble with University of Illinois athletes — known as the Illini Guardians — and coaches. According to Campus Ink, proceeds will benefit Illini Guardians and Fighting Illini student-athletes.
The cost per team (four golfers) is $1,200 and includes a donation to the Illini Guardians, green fees, golf cart use, boxed lunch, dinner, course refreshments, and use of the driving range and putting green.
Each team of four will be matched with an Illini player or coach to form groups of five. Player/coach pairings will be randomly assigned before the outing.
The event starts at 12:30 p.m. CT and concludes with a dinner and player meet-and-greet at 5 p.m. CT.
Registration is limited to the first 20 teams and will be accepted with full payment on a first-come, first-serve basis.
