Atlantis Headwear partners with Thru Hiking
The companies created headwear to serve the event's hikers.

Atlantis Headwear recently collaborated with Thru Hiking for Trail Days Europe 2026. Developed for Europe’s largest gathering of long-distance hiking enthusiasts, the collaboration centered on creating headwear that would serve hikers well beyond the event itself.
Rather than producing traditional event merchandise, Atlantis and Thru Hiking focused on designing caps that combined performance, sustainability, and everyday functionality for life on the trail.
Held in June at De Hoge Veluwe National Park in the Netherlands, Trail Days Europe brought together more than 1,200 participants, over 40 outdoor brands, and hikers representing 15 countries. The annual event is organized by Thru Hiking, a European collective dedicated to connecting, educating and inspiring the long-distance hiking community through trusted trail resources and outdoor experiences.
“Great merchandising should continue to provide value long after an event ends,” said Marco Bortolotti, head of sales and marketing at Atlantis Headwear. “This collaboration demonstrates how functional, thoughtfully designed products can strengthen a community while reflecting the shared values of sustainability, quality, and outdoor adventure.”
Created with the needs of long-distance hikers in mind, the customized caps emphasized lightweight comfort, durability and responsible materials. Rather than serving as one-time event giveaways, they were designed to become dependable companions for future hikes and everyday outdoor adventures.
“The collaboration reflects Atlantis Headwear’s ongoing commitment to developing sustainable headwear that supports real-world performance while helping brands and organizations create meaningful connections with their communities through thoughtfully designed products,” stated the company in a press release.
