American Print Consultants (APC), a distributor of wide-format printers, supplies, and services, announces the launch of its color management services department.

APC’s newest addition, Tony Rojas, will head up the department. According to the company, Rojas has over 30 years of industry experience and has worked at and consulted for companies with critical color needs such as Duggal Visual Solutions, Coloredge Graphics, and Sandy Alexander.

“We’ve known and worked closely with Tony for a long time, contracting him on projects that required very exacting color,” states Dave Mee, partner at APC. “Watching Tony work, you immediately notice how analytical he is in his approach to collecting data and building profiles. Even more than that, though is his outright enthusiasm for everything he does — I don’t think I’ve met a person more excited about color and printing than Tony!”

“We’d been courting Tony to work exclusively for us for several years now,” says Rob Almstrom, partner at APC. “Finally, everything just aligned, and we’re thrilled to have him as an official team member. Tony’s work ethic, technical skills, and passion fit APC’s service-forward team perfectly”.

The company says the department has made additions to product-line offerings for color control, including Barbieri Electronic, Caldera RIP, and Inèdit Software. In addition, it also carries Onyx Graphics, Ergosoft, SAi, and X-Rite, which it says will provide customers with multiple solutions for production and color management.
