Piedmont Plastics Acquires Two New England Plastics Companies

Charlotte, North Carolina-based Piedmont Plastics, a wholesale distributor of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film stock shapes, announces its expansion in the New England marketplace with the acquisition of Mechanical Plastics Inc. and Plastic Supply Inc. The former is located in Agawam, Massachusetts and the latter in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

These new locations mark the 46th and 47th distribution centers in North America for Piedmont Plastics, and there are four locations that serve New England and the northeastern U.S.

All the employees from the two companies will be joining Piedmont Plastics, as will John Murphy, who owned them both.
