Penn Emblem California Facility Earns Safety Award

Penn Emblem’s California facility earns recognition for its commitment to safe work practices from 2018-2019. The Mira Loma location received the company’s 2018 Safety Award for its efforts.

Awarded by company president Randi Blumenthal, Penn Emblem says the Mira Loma plant received the award because it succeeds at “upholding rules and standards, staying alert and proactive, and always keeping the welfare of the employees at the forefront.” The company adds that all branches of Penn Emblem benefit from the provisions the Mira Loma facility has taken to uphold safety standards.

The California location has earned other safety awards in prior years for its commitment to high workplace standards. Additionally, the facility achieved Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) Gold certification in 2017 for production standards and safety practices.
