CERRITOS, Calif.-International Coatings Company (ICC) announces its collaboration with mosaic artist Jolino Beserra to raise funds for various pet charities.
For the charity drive, Beserra created a one-of-a-kind, mosaic animal rescue design, which ICC then transposed and printed onto T-shirts. According to ICC, the Beserra household has a long history of mixing “art and dogs.” For nearly 40 years, he’s been taking in and caring for homeless dogs.
Through donations made to the cause, the duo raised $500. Proceeds from this initial drive in January go to the Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary. However, the pet rescue charity drive continues, and Beserra hopes to raise additional funds to support two other pet rescue organizations: Harley’s Dream and Flying Fur.
The T-shirts feature ICC’s FX Gel Gloss Clear to highlight part of the design. Additionally, Cotton Heritage donated 300 premium ring-spun cotton shirts to the cause.

According to Beserra’s Facebook page, Cotton Heritage is donating more shirts for a second print run. Those shirts will be available at www.davidedwardbyrdposters.bigcartel.com.
In 2019, ICC launched a similar campaign featuring Beserra’s studio partner David Edward Byrd’s artwork.
