Featured Project: Mixed Media Concepts Gives Office Space Sleek Look

Mixed Media Concepts installed printed and unprinted frosted window film for the project

Middlesex, New Jersey-based Mixed Media Concepts recently completed an office renovation for Cognizant, a technology company ranked by Forbes as one of the world’s best employers.

Cognizant provides business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing services. When building a new office space in New Jersey that included conference rooms and offices with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and windows, Cognizant wanted to uniquely incorporate company branding and employee privacy. So the company turned to Mixed Media Concepts, a graphic design and signage shop, to give the space a creative touch.

Specializing in wide-format printing and architectural signage, Mixed Media Concepts recommended combining printed and unprinted window graphics that could be applied to the glass surfaces throughout the office space.

Mixed Media owner Nick Basile turned to IMAGin B-free Frosted Window Film for the project to create a consistent finish for both printed and unprinted graphics. In one week, working through office construction, three installers put up a total of 4,000 square feet of the film material. They installed printed and unprinted material on both first and second surfaces. The shop used an HP Latex 360 printer to print the material.

“We transfer taped all frosted film for the project, which made it go down like a dream,” says Basile. “The customer was very particular about the project and was ecstatic about the quality of the material and installation.”
