When laying out an award or recognition product, placing relating text and graphics nearest to each other creates meaning and beauty. Equally spacing everything can look plain and boring. The surrounding space around text and graphics is called “white space.” White space highlights important text and graphics and hopefully eliminates crowdedness, especially with those customers that have a lot of text to include.
Space is your friend – master it and you will enhance the meaning and beauty of the recognition products you create.
