Any time you do an ad or promotional campaign, you should follow this checklist of an effective marketing campaign:

  • It presents a clear, telegraphic storyline;
  • It satisfies a need;
  • The offer includes something special;
  • There is a logical reason for the offer (e.g. season, occasion, etc.);
  • There is a sense of urgency to act;
  • It has understandable directions to action;
  • You re-emphasize the unique value proposition of the offer.
