What are some out-of-the-box substrates to sublimate?

There are so many items we interact with on a daily basis that are sublimated – things we don’t even realize until we really look closely: things like Halloween costumes, fashion items like burnout blouses, gun stock inlays, gas pump advertising, restaurant tables, and other architectural design pieces.

Of course, there are the more traditional items that have been sublimated for a long time, like cycling and soccer jerseys, but now, our industry is seeing more and more volleyball and football jerseys being sublimated as well.

This list keeps going and includes memorial products such as cremation urns, coffin inlays, and large slate memorial headstones; sunglasses; fishing lures (both as promotional products and technical lures); watch bands; and even toilet seats.

My favorite out-of-the-box item I have seen sublimated are medical braces. We are even starting to see people sublimate onto prosthetics.
