A fiber laser is just like any new machine – it requires some dedication to learn the machine and to understand how different materials behave with the different parameter settings. Learning about how a fiber laser works, as well as the software driving the machine, is not overly difficult, but takes some training and patience. For someone that is already familiar with lasers, it may only take a few hours. However, for someone without any experience, the curve might take several weeks or more.
