How can someone with a home-based business maintain a healthy work-life balance?
Take periodic breaks during the workday. Occasionally step away from your desk for five or 10 minutes. Go outside for a breath of fresh air or a brisk walk, or grab a refreshing drink from the kitchen. Schedule 10- or 15-minute breaks in your calendar at specific times during the day. When you get the reminder that it’s time to take a walk around the block, do it.
