Moving items and changing colors can give your showroom a quick change to make a big difference. Try it but be aggressive and make several changes at once so your showroom really takes on a new look.
You want to make sure you’re showing prospects your signature products. Showrooms take up a large amount of your shop’s square footage, but is it paying for itself in proportion to your total square footage? If the answer is no, that’s when a change is most needed.
The best strategy is to place the most profitable items you offer in the prime real estate of your showroom. This is often something you specialize in or a product that brands your business. All showrooms have hotspot areas – special displays of key high-profit products. It’s important to highlight these products for your branding. Use this space wisely.
