Coastal Enterprises has been manufacturing Precision Board HDU since 1972 in Orange Country, CA for the tooling and aerospace market. In the late 1980s it was becoming more prevalent for the signage industry as a wood replacement. Coastal supplies Precision Board for many applications and continues to be involved in multiple industries. PBHT (300F) is high temp and used for vacuum forming, molds, or any application that calls for a higher-temp material. PBLT is low temp (200F) and used in industries such as signage, architectural, marine, aerospace, and automotive – amongst others. All industries have a need for both PBLT and PBHT.
