What can I do to speed up the sandcarving process on stone?

Increasing your blasting pressure and using a courser abrasive will speed up the sandcarving process. We recommend 40 psi to 60 psi for sandcarving stone and 120 aluminum oxide or silicon carbide. The courser grit will cut the stone surface quicker. If you are using 5mil photoresist film, then we recommend a blasting pressure of 40 to 45 psi. A blasting pressure of 45 to 60 psi can be used for 6mil or even 9mil photoresist film.
