Some customers may think that a brand can take away from the look of a finished product. However, it may also be a bargaining chip you can use. You could discount the finished product for your customer in exchange for showcasing your brand visibly to the world.
If not, just because your customer does not want your brand emblazoned on the front of their product does not mean you should not brand your products. Everything that leaves your shop should be branded in some manner. You just need to be a little more inconspicuous.
If you are customizing shirts, for example, it is easy to sublimate your website onto the inside of the hem of the shirt. It is not visible from the outside but still allows anyone that may end up with one of your sublimated shirts to find you if and when they need to order more shirts.
Name badges are also a great example. Everyone uses name badges for one reason or another. A potential customer may use a name badge for a job or maybe a large group such as a business networking group or Chamber of Commerce. If you put your business information on the back of the name badge, if that person needs a name badge for an event or other use, they will be able to find you.
