Watchfire Announces Winners of Fifth Annual LED Sign Contest

The company launched this contest in 2014 to showcase and reward the finest work of its dealer-partners.

Danville, Illinois-based LED sign maker Watchfire Signs announces the winners of its 2019 Watchfire LED Sign Awards.

Springfield Sign in Springfield, Missouri, which was founded in 1986, was the grand prize winner for a monument sign featuring a Watchfire LED display that it did for Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, Missouri.

The winning sign is a double-face custom pylon featuring a Watchfire 12mm display, backlit flat cut out letters with stand-offs, flush-mount, lighted channel letters and custom metal fabrication. The design is in the middle of Branson’s busy entertainment district, and still stands out, according to Watchfire.

“Watchfire understands the craftsmanship that our dealer-partners use in producing high quality digital sign installations,” says David Warns, Watchfire’s vice president of on-premise sales. “The only limitations are their imaginations when it comes to sign designs that will have the greatest impact. We are proud to recognize our dealer partners who promote the strengths of digital advertising. … Congratulations to Springfield Sign and all of this year’s winners.”

This is the fifth year of the contest. Watchfire launched it in order to showcase and reward the best work of its dealer-partners.
