Voting Now Open for 'People's Choice' Award in Avery Dennison's Wrap Like A King Contest

Mentor, Ohio-based Avery Dennison‘s annual Wrap Like A King contest is well underway, and this year there is a new category: the People’s Choice Award.

From now until Sept. 6, you can go to the Wrap Like A King website and cast your vote for your favorite wrap. The winner will be crowned the “People’s Prince” and will receive a prize package worth $1,500. There is a limit of one vote per person.

As for entering the contest, the deadline is Saturday, August 31. Again this year, the annual wrap competition will feature Regional Wrap Kings, Continental Wrap Kings and at the end, the crowning of the prestigious “King of the Wrap World.”

The contest is open to installers from 53 countries, and the prize packages for 2019 are worth a combined total of more than $30,000, available to Regional Wrap Kings, Continent Wrap Kings and the “King of the Wrap World.” In 2018, more than 200 installers entered the challenge.

The 13 Regional Wrap Kings will win nearly $2,000 worth of personalized marketing materials, Avery Dennison product, SEMA passes and more. They will then go on to battle for royalty on their continents: North America, Europe, North Asia and Australia/New Zealand. Then, the four continent winners will be whittled down to the overall winner and crowned the “King of the Wrap World” at the 2019 SEMA Show, Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.

The contest website is here, where you can find official rules, judges’ bios and prize information.

The company invites you to join the conversation on Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions’ social channels, including Facebook and Instagram, and by following the hashtag #WLAK2019.
