S&S Activewear announced the promotion of Rob Hamill to chief strategy officer, a role that is said to further advance the company’s mission to deliver solutions for its customers across the promotional products and decorated apparel industries.

Since joining S&S, Hamill has been a driving force behind several of the company’s most important strategic initiatives, including the transformative acquisition of alphabroder in 2024. He has played an essential role in shaping and executing S&S’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, bringing a sharp eye for opportunity evaluation, strategic fit, and seamless integration. His work has strengthened S&S’s capabilities, expanded its reach, and ultimately delivered more value, flexibility, and reliability to customers.

Beyond M&A, Hamill has been instrumental in guiding S&S’s long-term strategy around technology innovation, market expansion, and operational excellence, all focused on enabling customers to grow and operate more efficiently. His leadership has supported major advancements in customer-facing tools and business solutions designed to help print-on-demand providers, decorators, promotional product distributors, and partners take on more orders, reduce complexity, and operate with greater speed.

“Rob’s energy, strategic mindset, and customer-first approach have helped shape the future of S&S,” said Frank Myers, CEO of S&S Activewear. “His work directly supports our goal of giving customers the solutions they need to say ‘yes’ to more opportunities. His leadership will accelerate the innovation our industry deserves.”

As chief strategy officer, Hamill will oversee enterprise strategy, market intelligence, M&A, and the continued development of technology platforms that strengthen customer performance. His focus will remain centered on building solutions that unlock growth for customers, whether through faster order enablement, more efficient decorator workflows, or tools that simplify day-to-day operations.
