S&S Activewear announces alphabroder’s Dan Pantano departure
Pantano will depart the company effective Oct.1, as planned.

Following its acquisition of alphabroder in October 2024, S&S Activewear recently announced that Dan Pantano, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of alphabroder, will be departing the company effective Oct.1, as planned.
Pantano has been a driving force since joining alphabroder in 2013. Over his 12-year tenure, he built a world-class sales and marketing organization, led the company through multiple acquisitions — including Bodek & Rhodes and Ash City — and guided tremendous organic growth. Under his leadership, revenues grew from $800 million to nearly $2 billion while strengthening profitability. He was also instrumental in positioning the business for its successful sale to S&S Activewear.
“Dan’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping our growth journey,” said Frank Myers, CEO at S&S Activewear. “His vision, customer-first mindset, and ability to build strong teams leave a lasting legacy. On behalf of all of us at S&S, we are grateful for his many contributions and wish him the very best in his next chapter.”
According to a press release, Pantano’s leadership has been defined by a clear purpose and a deep commitment to customers, employees, and the broader industry. He championed initiatives that enhanced the customer experience, expanded product offerings, and inspired employee engagement. He has also contributed significantly to the imprintable apparel industry, including his service on the PPAI board of directors.
