SRG announced that Steve Smidt, vice president of sales and marketing, retired at the end of May after 14 years with the company and a 26-year career in the promotional products industry.

Smidt joined St Regis in 2011 during a pivotal time in the company’s growth. Since then, he has played a key role in shaping SRG’s sales strategy, leading business development efforts, and strengthening customer relationships across North America. His industry knowledge, leadership, and personal touch have left a lasting mark.

“The decision is bittersweet, as this company has been such a big part of my life,” said Smidt. “When I joined St Regis 14 years ago, we were in a very different place. I’ve had the privilege of being part of incredible growth, both for our sales and the company overall. I’m proud of the role I’ve played, and even more grateful for the relationships I’ve built with our amazing customers — many of whom I now consider close friends. I’ll take so many great memories with me into this next chapter.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Steve for his dedication and leadership over the past 14 years,” said Mark Waisbrod, CEO of SRG. “His contribution to our success cannot be overstated—from building trusted partnerships to mentoring our team, Steve has helped shape the culture and reputation of SRG. We wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.”

The SRG team extends its deepest thanks to Smidt for his years of service and wishes him continued happiness, health, and success in the years ahead.
