Sportsman Cap & Bag Masks Up with Fashion Retail Brand Helen Jon

Sportsman Cap & Bag enters a distributor partnership with swimwear retail brand Helen Jon.

Through the partnership, Helen Jon masks are available through Sportsman’s 16 distributor locations in North America.

“While sourcing face masks for our family, Helen Jon was recommended by a friend,” says Dan Saferstein, Sportsman Cap & Bag president. “I learned that like Sportsman, Helen Jon is located in the greater KC area. I reached out and was impressed with the team at Helen Jon and the quality of masks they are producing. We are excited to have them join the Sportsman Cap & Bag family as a new brand.”

The team at Helen Jon responded to the pandemic by converting its manufacturing facilities to produce low-cost non-medical grade masks.

Saferstein continues, stating, “There is a lot of information about masks circulating, but a couple of points standout—fit affects filtration efficiency and combining fabrics can be more effective in stopping a high percentage of droplets and particles from getting in or out.”
