DUBUQUE, Iowa-Shirt Lab, a sales and marketing education event for the decorated apparel industry, announces it has sold out its Columbus, Ohio date. The upcoming event takes place Oct. 27.

“Around the Ohio Valley area, a good number of shops are attending, but what’s interesting is that people are flying in from all over the United States,” says Tom Rauen, Shirt Lab co-founder. “We have attendees from California, Texas, Maryland, and Massachusetts too.”

Speakers at the Columbus event include multiple industry veterans such as Jay Busselle, Dan Carr, Roger Burnett, Ken Seidl, Ryan Moor, Bill Petrie, and Chris Bernat.

“The sales market has shifted, and I think shop owners are scrambling to understand the new dynamics,” explains Marshall Atkinson, co-founder. “What we are teaching with Shirt Lab are new best practices and strategies that will push these shops to succeed.”

The organization says it plans to add more shows, one per business quarter. Q1 of 2019 takes place in Atlanta while Q2 will be in Portland, Oregon. Cities for Q3 and Q4 are forthcoming.
