SGP Names Cooley Group as Gold Patron
Since 2014, the company has repurposed 50 million pounds of polymers.
The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) announces that the Cooley Group is the latest SGP Patron at the gold level. SGP says along with other companies, Cooley Group pledges to promote sustainability, support SGP, and “keep costs low for certification of print facilities.”
A manufacturer of sustainable, high-performance polymeric solutions, Cooley Group builds and distributes goods according to a dedicated sustainable growth strategy. The strategy “benefits economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility equally,” according to the company.
“Recognizing that both organizations work to achieve a more sustainable future, The Cooley Group is proud to partner with SGP,” says Bryan Rose, vice president and general manager of new business development at the Cooley Group. “The partnership between us is vital as sustainability plays an increasingly significant role across industries and in the printing industry in particular. With the certification program, SGP establishes corporate accountability in sustainable printing. In enthusiastic support of SGP’s goals, Cooley looks to contribute to the SGP Community through patronage and, more importantly, through active engagement.”
Cooley Group heads up an initiative known as “We Make It, We Take It Back.” At the end of a product’s useful life, Cooley takes back the material to repurpose it into new products in an effort to reduce landfill disposal. Since 2014, the company has repurposed 50 million pounds of polymers.
