SanMar shares sustainability progress
2024 marked a number of important sustainability milestones for the company.

SanMar Corporation, a supplier of wholesale accessories and apparel, shared its 2024 sustainability update. It illustrates the progress made in sustainable business practices across the company in three key pillars: people, planet, and product.
“Our goals are ambitious,” said SanMar President and CEO Jeremy Lott, in a letter included in the new update. “We’ll achieve them by staying dedicated to our customers and holding true to our purpose.”
2024 marked a number of important sustainability milestones for SanMar, including:

- A portion of the sales of the Charity Tech Pack was donated to the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross
- SanMar became a National Sponsor for the Breakthrough T1D Walk program, beginning a long-term commitment to support a cure for type 1 diabetes

- Projects to install solar panels at SanMar warehouses were kicked off
- SanMar integrated bluesign standards into its supply chain to meet the highest environmental and safety criteria
- The sustainable product selection available at SanMar grew to more than 200 unique options
“Our 2024 sustainability update reflects an inflection point in our journey — where ambition meets action,” said Emily Gigot, director of sustainability at SanMar. “Whether it’s our commitment to making type 1 diabetes a thing of the past, implementing solar in our operations, or rapid growth in our sustainable product offering, we’re stepping up the pace to drive meaningful change in our climate and the communities we serve.”
These initiatives and more are a part of the ongoing SanMar commitment to do business sustainably and responsibly, with the belief that every T-shirt can be “A Canvas for Good.”
