Rush Order Tees announced continued support for the Pennsylvania SPCA with funding directed specifically toward the organization’s Humane Education initiatives that serve youth across Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania SPCA Humane Education Program engages students through hands-on experiences that connect compassion, responsibility, and real-world skills. During the 2024–2025 school year, the program reached more than 1,200 young people through school presentations, shelter visits, internships, and creative enrichment opportunities. These experiences introduce students to animal welfare, empathy-building practices, and potential career pathways while reinforcing academic and personal growth.

Rush Order Tees’ contribution helps expand access to these programs for students who often face economic instability and limited access to arts and enrichment resources. Humane Education programming provides safe, structured environments where students can learn through direct interaction with animals, participate in STEAM-focused internships, and develop confidence, teamwork, and practical skills.

“As a Pennsylvania-based company, we believe investing in education is one of the most meaningful ways to support our local communities,” said Josh Hannum, head of sales at Rush Order Tees. “The Pennsylvania SPCA’s Humane Education program creates lasting impact by giving young people the opportunity to learn empathy, responsibility, and real-world skills through hands-on experiences.”

Humane Education participants take part in activities ranging from shelter-based learning and animal care to internships that expose teens to veterinary science, equine care, and professional workplace environments. The program has already helped students pursue careers in animal science and veterinary services, demonstrating long-term educational and workforce impact.
