Independence, Ohio-based Proforma Group, a global distributor to the printing and promotional products industry, says it is excited to announce that Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, has accepted an invitation to join the company in a celebration of their new business management technology platform, ProVision, on Sunday, Jan. 12th, 2020, at a promotional products convention in Las Vegas.

Wozniak’s invite-only event will be part of a two-day event hosted by Proforma during the convention at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Wozniak’s contributions to technology, including the creation of Apple’s first line of products, have earned him the National Medal of Technology, the highest honor given to America’s leading innovators, and an induction into the Inventors Hall of Fame. Wozniak now devotes his time and resources to numerous educational initiatives including ‘Woz U’, an online learning platform with coursework in software development, data science and cybersecurity.

At the event Wozniak will be taking the stage with Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo to discuss Wozniak’s early days at Apple, his partnership with Steve Jobs and his vision for the future of technology. The event will be followed by limited photo ops for VIP guests.

“I am looking forward to joining Proforma for this special celebration of their new business management technology platform,” says Wozniak. “I have always said that ‘wherever smart people work, doors are unlocked’ and clearly Proforma is unlocking doors to the future in this industry.”
