Prism Inks Celebrates 20-Year Anniversary and Co-Founders

The two founders were both working at Topaz Technologies when they spun Prism off into its own company.

prism inksSunnyvale, California-based Prism Inks marks its upcoming 20th anniversary and recognizes its co-founders. The company says it will commemorate the occasion with forthcoming promotional events.

Originally founded as an offshoot of Topaz Technologies, Prism says Amir Ajanee, CEO and president, and Graham Dracup, vice president of engineering, co-founded the company “based upon a philosophy of using world-class manufacturing and development for the benefit of its customers and its employees.”

Both founders share commonalities in that they both began at Topaz and are immigrants. Ajanee came to the U.S. from Pakistan as a teenager while Dracup originally hails from the United Kingdom and immigrated to work for Topaz. The duo formed Prism Inks with their own entrepreneurial skills, the company notes.

“We are true believers in the American dream of working hard to achieve fuller lives and better opportunities for all of our coworkers so that they participate in the success of the company,” says Ajanee.  “For years, we have shared a portion of the annual profits with our employees so that their hard work is further recognized and rewarded. This is really important to both Graham and me.”

Dracup adds that he’s pleased with the growth and success of Prism but is “far more proud of being able to provide well-paying jobs with excellent benefits to our employees.”

“Prism Inks is a melting pot of employees with diverse backgrounds like Amir and me, and being able to provide for our employees is indeed a blessing,” notes Dracup.
