CLEVELAND-PolyOne Corporation announces a series of leadership changes. The company says the changes are “in anticipation” of closing the acquisition of Clariant Masterbatch, scheduled for later this year.
The company says with the size and scope of the acquisition, the need for two leadership roles with regional responsibilities is crucial. The appointments include:
Woon Keat Moh as president of color, additives, and inks, for the Americas and Asia regions.
Michael A. Garratt, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, as president of color, additives, and inks, for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
John Midea, currently senior vice president of global operations and process improvement, will serve as the integration leader for the acquisition. According to PolyOne, Midea will oversee “a cross-functional committee of associates from both companies who will lead the integration.”
Cathy K. Dodd, vice president of marketing, moves to senior vice president, chief commercial officer, replacing Garratt.
“I’m very excited for these proven leaders at PolyOne to expand their roles, serve our customers, and inspire our global associates,” says Robert M. Patterson, CEO at PolyOne. “As we await the final regulatory approvals that will facilitate the close of the Clariant Masterbatch acquisition, our team is eagerly preparing to welcome our newest employees and customers to PolyOne.”
