OrderMyGear, an e-commerce platform designed for selling to groups online, promotes Dustin Downing to vice president of product and marketing. In the newly-created role, Downing is responsible for platform innovation, user experience improvements, and OrderMyGear’s product lineup. He’s also in charge of creating and refining the marketing department within the company.

“One of OrderMyGear’s competitive differentiators is our commitment to customer success and our passion for driving innovation,” says OrderMyGear CEO Dave Dutch. “Adding a vice president of product and marketing to the OrderMyGear executive team will ensure that we maintain a consistently customer-centric culture across the entire company. Particularly in terms of developing new products and enhancing our current features in a way that impacts our clients’ success.”

Downing joined OrderMyGear shortly after the Susquehanna Growth Equity investment of $35 million in 2018. He brings 13-plus years of experience in product management and marketing in the technology industry to the role.

Downing adds, “What excites me most about this opportunity is the ability to help shape the future of our industry from a technology and product perspective. My primary goal is to develop the OrderMyGear features, platform, and solutions to drive the success of customers. In so doing, I see that we will take the industry with us as we bring modern customization to a society that continues to shift towards more technology-based and e-commerce-focused options.”
