Orbus Visual Communications Brands Celebrate New Production Facility
SEG Systems & Fabric Images have relocated and expanded.
Orbus Visual Communications has announced the relocation and grand opening of a new manufacturing facility for SEG Systems and Fabric Images in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Orbus is a producer of visual communications solutions for tradeshows and events, retail environments, and workplace interiors. SEG Systems specializes in the engineering, design, and manufacture of lightboxes, merchandising display systems, and creative solutions to bolster retailers and brands. Fabric Images is a design-focused manufacturer of printed and non-printed tension fabric architecture, acoustical products, and custom design solutions for workplace interiors, hospitality, retail spaces, museums, and events.

According to Orbus, “This event marks a pivotal moment in the history of SEG Systems and Fabric Images, symbolizing growth, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.”
The relocation and expansion are a $25 million investment and will create 100 new jobs, in addition to the 86 jobs moving from Charlotte, North Carolina. The new facility is approximately 225,000 square feet and will incorporate SEG Systems’ and Fabric Images’ entire production capabilities: printing, metal fabrication, fabric architecture manufacturing, woodworking, acoustical felt production, powder coating, and lighting. The brand-new facility is 50% larger than the previous space. The expansion is said to unlock new opportunities for enhanced productivity and innovation.
