New Hires and Promotions: Beaver Paper, FDC Graphic Films, Geneva Capital, PAT Technology

Beaver Paper Group, a sublimation media and TexSewn cut-and-sew papers manufacturer, promotes Allen Wheeler to the new position of TexSewn product manager.
Wheeler has been with Beaver Paper for over six years in progressive roles, including national TexSewn sales representative and Southeast regional sales representative. He plays a role in generating new sales and market opportunities for Beaver Paper’s TexSewn product portfolio in his new position. In addition, he is responsible for developing new products and initiatives to increase sales and awareness for the brand.
“We are thrilled to have Allen move into this leadership position. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Sewn Products industry and will be key in developing new markets for TexSewn,” explains Tobias Sternbeck, CEO of Beaver Paper. “Allen’s deep industry knowledge and experience makes him a perfect fit for his new role.”
FDC Graphic Films Inc. adds Sean Hession to its team as the Northwest/Canada west regional sales manager. Hession brings over 30 years of experience in the sign industry, between account management and territory management, to the role.
“I’m excited to welcome Sean, along with his experience and background, to our team,” says Renée Thibodeaux, FDC vice president of sales and customer care. “His sign industry sales success, leadership, and previous engagement with distributors in our network will prove invaluable.”
Geneva Capital announces two recent promotions. Nate Kary is named Geneva Capital’s new director of operations, and Sara Beattie is now credit manager on the operations team.
Kary joined Geneva Capital as a financial analyst in 2005 and was promoted to credit manager in 2007. For the last 14 years, he’s managed all credit policies and personnel. As the director of operations, a new position within the company’s senior management team, Kary focuses on company-wide process improvements and explores new market and product opportunities while monitoring portfolio performance.
Beattie, taking over as credit manager, joined Geneva Capital in 2011 as a financial analyst before being promoted to a senior financial analyst in 2016. As the company’s credit manager, she directs all credit policies, engages in underwriting audits, and leads the team of financial analysts responsible for all customer credit decisions.
These promotions are effective July 1, 2021.
Fume extraction solutions provider PAT Technology announces the hiring of Peck Sidara as its business development manager. Sidara has over 20 years of experience with laser development, sales, and support combined with knowledge of material science. In the role, Sidara is responsible for business development activities for the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
“Peck’s understanding of the laser market and the effects of lasers on materials adds to PAT’s industry-leading knowledge base related to fume extraction,” says Wayne Baird, president of PAT. “His skill set spans all aspects of the consultative sales process, and we’re really excited that he has joined our team — especially as we are launching our updated FILTRABOX line of laser fume extractors.”
Previously, Sidara worked with Epilog Laser, where he held various positions, managed its materials group, and oversaw its Asian distribution channel partner program.
