Nazdar welcomes new research & development scientist

In the role, Ruby Davis Davis will be responsible for researching & developing new & innovative inks & coatings products.

Nazdar Ink Technologies, a manufacturer of UV, water-based, and solvent-based products for the inkjet, screen-printing, and flexographic markets, is announced the hire of Ruby Davis as research and development scientist.

Joining the Nazdar R&D team, Davis will be responsible for researching and developing new and innovative inks and coatings products, with the aim of generating new business and supporting the growth of existing accounts.

In addition to her packaging industry knowledge, Davis has a Master of Science in chemistry from the University of Birmingham (UK). Davis brings with her experience in microemulsion dynamics and an approach to sustainable product design within R&D, having worked across key development areas such as formulation, additive screening, product testing, and production support for polymer coatings at Pulpex.

“Ruby’s deep understanding of materials screening processes and her innovative approach to instrumentation and data analysis will undoubtedly contribute significantly to our ongoing research endeavors and product development,” says Saminu Magami R&D manager at Nazdar UK. “We’re delighted to welcome her to the team and wish her all the best in her new role at Nazdar.”
