MUTOH America welcomes James Stanley as business development packaging manager

Stanley brings over 25 years of experience spanning manufacturing, ad agencies & distribution.

MUTOH America, a provider of wide-format printing solutions, welcomed James Stanley as business development manager for the packaging market. In this role, Stanley will support growth and innovation in packaging applications using the ValueJet 628MP.

A second-generation packaging designer and engineer, Stanley brings over 25 years of experience spanning manufacturing, ad agencies, and distribution. A certified packaging professional (CPP), he authored his thesis on digital printing methods for flexographic printing, highlighting his deep expertise at the intersection of packaging and print.

“I fell in love with wide-format printing when I saw how full-color mockups could accelerate the packaging sales process,” said Stanley. “I’m excited to join MUTOH and support the magicians in this industry who create magic for their customers.”

Brian Phipps, president of MUTOH America, added, “James brings a rare combination of design, engineering, and real-world experience. His insight will be key as we expand MUTOH’s role in the packaging market. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Stanley lives in Arizona with his wife and their four children.
